The City thanks Diane for her service to the community and wishes her well in all her future endeavors. The resignation leaves a two-year seat opening in addition to the four-year term general election opening in Ward 2. If you are interested in applying, visit www.lincolncity.org/elections. The filing deadline is August 19th by 5pm. If you have previously applied for the four-year term in Ward 2 and would like to apply for the two-year term opening, you need to withdraw your previous application by filing out the SEL 150 Candidate Withdrawal Form.
