Sunday morning around 7:15 am State Police Trooper Kolacz received a complaint of an unlawful camper and vehicle on the beach at Lost Creek State Park. When he arrived, the camper was driving on the beach towards the access. Trooper Kolacz contacted the driver, identified as 38-year old Dinny Spicer who showed signs of impairment and continued to during voluntary field sobriety tests. He was arrested for DUII and was then transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he provided a breath sample indicating a 0.16% blood alcohol content, twice the legal limit. Mr. Spicer was lodged in jail and his dog was brought to the Lincoln County Animal shelter for safekeeping.
