State Police Trooper Kolacz was dispatched to Ona Beach State Park. Investigation showed the driver of a Mercury Mountaineer was southbound on hwy 101. The driver, later identified as Linda I Cozine of Dunes City was attempting a right turn into the Ona Beach State Park where the turn had been straightened out and some type of a box was struck and driven on top of. Cozine was transported to the hospital in Newport as she was disoriented. During contact with the Cozine trooper Kolacz suspected she was impaired. She completed a valid breath test indicating a .22 Blood Alcohol Content. The Lincoln County Jail did not allow her to be lodged and she was cited and released for DUII and Reckless Driving.
