Community Poetry Slam to Celebrate International Women’s Day

Indivisible Waves invites community members from across the Central Oregon Coast to come together in Yachats on Sunday, March 8, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at Bayside Cellars, 504 Hwy 101 North, for a poetry slam in celebration of International Women’s Day.

The International Women's Day 2026 Poetry Slam provides a safe, intimate setting to share your original work or read from other people’s writings that have inspired you. We aim to foster dialogue, creativity, and connection within the community. Through poetry and performance, participants will explore themes of empowerment, equality, resilience, and the diverse experiences and contributions of women across cultures and generations. We will also be shining a light on some of the invisible women that history has tried to forget. Indivisible Waves is committed to creating a welcoming space where reflection, creativity, and conversation can thrive.
