

Fire Crews Prevent Sturcture Fire From Spreading
At approximately 6:34 p.m. on Sunday August 30, 2026, Central Coast Fire & Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire on Risley Creek Road. Engine 72 and Chief Jamie Mason arrived on scene to find a residential structure fully involved in fire. Lincoln County Crews Continue To Help With Wildfires
After a brief period with all of our deployed firefighters back home, Lincoln County has once again been called upon to assist Oregonians battling wildfires around the state. The Lincoln County Fire Defense Board has fulfilled requests for two separate Task Forces, which are deploying to two different wildfire incidents in Oregon. High Speed Chase Leads to Crash On Highway 101
On Monday August 3, 2026 at about 12:36pm, a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy observed a gray Jeep Wrangler driving southbound in the center lane of Highway 101 near Milepost 143, in South Beach. The deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop by activating their emergency lights but the Jeep failed to stop and continued southbound on Highway 101.
