Crash On Yaquina Bay Bridge

Saturday, April 4th at around 2pm Newport police responded to a report of a two car crash that occurred on the Yaquina Bay Bridge causing weekend traffic to back up for over an hour and a half. DHS Employee Arrested After Attempting To Burn Avery Building In Newport

On Monday, April 6, 2026, a woman was seen buying gasoline at a Circle K in Newport and then pouring it all over the Avery Building on NE Avery Street. This building is home to several government offices, including the Oregon Department of Human Services.
