OCCA announces a wildly creative new summer day camp offering for youth in grades 3-6

Newport, Oregon: Registration is now open for Wild Stage Camp, a new summer youth offering from Oregon Coast Council for the Arts. Designed for students entering the 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grade as of Fall 2026, the program will run July 20-24, 2026 at the Newport Visual Arts Center (777 NW Beach Drive). 

Led by camp director and teaching artist Jaime Lee Hart, the week-long camp explores theater, music, dance, cardboard creation, and playful nature exploration against the backdrop of the area's ocean views. The curriculum is open to all skill levels, and no previous acting or musical experience is required.
