Newport, Oregon: Oregon Coast Council for the Arts (OCCA) is thrilled to bring the best of British theatre to our coastal community with a special National Theatre Live screening of Bernard Shaw’s incendiary classic, "Mrs. Warren’s Profession." The event will take place on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Alice Silverman Theatre at the Newport Performing Arts Center (PAC).
Captured live from the London stage, this high-definition broadcast features five-time Olivier Award winner Imelda Staunton (The Crown, Harry Potter) in a powerhouse performance. In a historic first, Staunton shares the stage with her real-life daughter, Bessie Carter (Bridgerton), playing the roles of mother and daughter.
