Lincoln County Clerk Presents Talk on Voting Process and Rights at OCCC Library


To encourage participation and understanding of the voting process in Lincoln County, the Oregon Coast Community College Library will host Amy A. Southwell, Lincoln County Clerk, for an informative talk on Wednesday, April 8.


Southwell, who is also an educator, speaker and leadership coach, will speak to college students and community members about voter rights and how voting is processed in Lincoln County. Following the talk, an OCCC Associated Student Government representative will also give a short presentation on change in youth and civic engagement.


Community members are invited to attend on April 8 at 10 a.m. at the OCCC Central County Campus, located at 400 SE College Way in Newport.
