Driver Cited After Crash

On 01/03/19 at approximately 6:33 AM, a two-vehicle crash occurred at the Hwy-20/SR-229 intersection. Crash investigation showed the driver of a Toyota pickup was southbound on SR-229 and entered the intersection in front of eastbound silver Focus. The driver of the Ford swerved but could not avoid the collision. Both drivers wore safety restraints, and airbags deployed, there were no injuries reported. The driver of the Toyota, identified as 55-year old Don M. Taylor was cited for Failure to obey a traffic control device.
