Feedback Sought For New Playground In Lincoln City

Lincoln City Parks & Recreation is inviting the public to provide input and learn more about the playground design for the new community park on Wednesday February 28th at 5:30pm. Attendees will get to view the proposed design for the 1st inclusive and accessible playground in Lincoln City, to be constructed at the New Community Park. The meeting location is at the Lincoln City Recreation Center at 2150 NE Oar Place. The Lincoln City parks and recreation staff, the Board, and Understory Architects will share renderings of the playground and images of proposed play equipment.

They want local community members with access and functional needs to give their input on the overall playground design and equipment before finalization of design. This event will be ASL interpreted. Lincoln City is committed to providing equitable access to our parks and recreation facilities. This meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities. Lincoln City parks and recreation thanked Travel Oregon for their $100k grant to support this playground, and the Lincoln City Christmas Cottage for their financial support for one of the play zones.
