There are lots of things going on throughout Lincoln County to celebrate the 4th of July. Grace Wins Haven is hosting a fireworks tent at the Walmart parking lot in Newport open 10am and 10pm until July 4th. The Lincoln County Fair is going on through Sunday at the Lincoln County Commons. The NPRA Rodeo will be taking place Saturday at 5 and Sunday at 1pm. Yachats has celebrations throughout the weekend with live music today from 2-5 at the commons pavilion and then tonight is the fireworks display at sundown. The Newport Symphony will be holding a free concert at 4pm at Newport High School.
The Yachats ladies club is holding their craft bazaar Sunday and Monday from 10-2. The Lions will be holding their pancake breakfast on Monday from 7:30-11. There will be a duck race for kids on the river from 10-11 finishing with the La De Da Parade at noon. Sunday In Waldport enjoy fireworks over the Alsea Bay at 10pm on Sunday July 3rd. July 4th there will be live music and in the Taft area of Lincoln City starting at 11:30 and then the fireworks display will happen over Siletz Bay at dusk. Newport will be holding their fireworks display over Yaquina Bay at dusk.
