The Lincoln County Fair would like to thank everyone for a successful 2019 event! We continue to take pride in highlighting the rich culture and vibrant community celebrated throughout our beautiful county. The Lincoln County Fair is committed to continuing to provide a fun, family friendly, FREE event annually. The addition of the Pro Rodeo Event proved to be a great success, and we look forward to promoting the wonderful offerings of Lincoln County once again next year, July 3-5, 2020!
We would like to take a moment to give a special thank you to Casey McEnemy, who has designed the artwork for our fabulous Fair Poster since OSU Extension took over management of the Lincoln County Fair in 2015. Mr. McEnemy’s timeless artwork has been key in helping promote the Fair for several years, and we cannot thank him enough for his contribution in rebuilding the County Fair and showcasing the amazing talent thriving in our coastal community. Unfortunately, due to other commitments, Mr. McEnemy has officially retired as the artist for the Lincoln County Fair.
To that end, we are soliciting proposals from local artists interested in designing the Fair Poster, which will serve as the basis for advertising for the 2020 event. The selected artist will receive an exclusive for the next three years of artwork. This is a fabulous opportunity to showcase your work while showcasing the amazing work of our county. To ensure we can properly promote the Fair itself, we need a sample of your artwork as soon as possible. This does not need to be the completed poster but rather your concept(s) roughed out as much as possible.
To guide submissions, we offer the following criteria. Proposed Artwork MUST:
· Be 11 x 17 ratio
· Capture a Lincoln County Icon or Landmark
· Include the date – July 3-5, 2020
· Encompass the diversity of our county, such as the following verbiage: ARTS - MUSIC - INDUSTRY - RECREATION - EDUCATION - LIFESTYLE
· Foster the sense of community and culture in Lincoln County
Help us to Celebrate Lincoln County at the New Lincoln County Fair with your suggested poster artwork. We welcome your inquiries for more information or to discuss possibilities.
