State Police and emergency personnel, responded to a three car crash on hey 101 at otter crest. Investigation showed the driver of a Gray, Chevy S10 was South Bound negotiating a left curve. The driver stated a vehicle attempted to merge into his lane next to him from a pullout. He swerved to the left and then back to the right when he lost control and the truck spun clockwise into the Northbound lane. The driver of a Peterbuilt Tractor pulling a semi-trailer was Northbound and the front of the Chevy struck the left, rear tires of the trailer.
Shortly after the initial collision, the driver of a tow truck was southbound and came upon the crash, braked and swerved into the southbound guardrail where it slid along the guardrail until the front end went over it and it came to an uncontrolled rest. There were no injuries reported, however the highway was closed while the vehicles were removed.
