Chinook Winds Opens For Golf

Chinook Winds Golf Course (CWGC) is now open for social distancing golf! As we like to say, “you can social distance from each other, but not the game!” CWGR opened April 15th at 10am for golf enthusiasts in the area looking for a game where social distancing is easy! “We are taking precautions to ensure the safety of our team members and guests”, said Lee Johnson, Director of Hotel and Golf operations for Chinook Winds Casino Resort. Below are safety precautions while playing your favorite sport:

  • No groups larger than 4 will be allowed.

  • Increased time between groups by 50% for additional spacing of play.

  • We are requesting all players capable of walking please do so.

  • CWGC fleet of power golf carts has 54 rental carts available. A single rider and one bag ONLY will be permitted in all power carts (members of the same household may ride together.) Children under the age of 18 are permitted to ride with a parent only. No other forms of double occupancy allowed.

  • Please stay 6 feet apart throughout play and while pro shop.

  • Flags must remain in the cup at all times and are not permitted to be tended nor removed.

  • We have placed inserts in the cups which will allow the ball to drop into the cup but not fall all the way to the bottom. This will allow for the ball to be holed out without needing to reach below the surface to retrieve your ball.

  • Bunker rakes have been removed from all bunkers. Play from bunkers shall proceed in the following manner:

    • Lift ball and smooth sand to satisfactory conditions with your foot. Place ball as close as possible to original position. No penalty.

Hours and green fees:

Monday through Friday: 10am to 5:30pm. 9 holes - $15, 18 holes - $25. Cart fee $17.

Saturday and Sunday: 8am to 5:30pm. 9 holes $20, 18 holes $25. Cart Fee $17

Carts must be turned in by 5:30pm each day. Last cart will be available for play at 4pm each day.

We encourage no hand shaking, high fives or other physical gestures that are well known on a golf outing. For now, simply give your playing partner an air high five and call it good! We are encouraging the use of this amenity to Lincoln County Residents currently to ensure people stay close to home.
