During the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting last week Commissioner Hall introduced Tim Johnson as the counties new administrator. Hall explained that though this is a new position it is one that had been performed previously by former Lincoln County Council Wayne Belmont who performed the duties without the title. She said that Tim has had a lifetime of administrative service and comes from Federal Way Washington.
Hall went on to describe some of the things that will be asked of Mr. Johnson. Some of the things he will be working on will include the building of the new Animal Shelter in the next couple of years, a new emergency operations center, and redevelopment of the county commons to name a few. He will also work with other partners for economic development and long range strategic plan for the county. Commissioner Jacobson welcomed Mr. Johnson and said she was excited to have him on board.
