
Just after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. Toledo Fire Department responded to a house fire on Beach Street in Toledo. The fire started in the garage, the family was alerted and all occupants of the home got out safely. The investigation showed the fire was accidental in nature.
According to Toledo Fire crews, the fire was difficult to put out but was quickly suppressed. Toledo fire received help from surrounding agencies including, Newport, Depoe Bay, Siletz, Central Coast and Seal Rock fire departments along with Toledo Police department. Pac West ambulance was also on standby. According to Toledo Fire the home was completely destroyed, the family is working with the Red Cross for assistance.
