On 8/9/22 at approximately 4:38 pm Fish and Game Troopers located and followed a gray Toyota Tundra, related to an on-going investigation, which was driving in the area of Benson Rd in Newport. They initiated contact with the driver, identified as 44-year old Bryan P. Tee after he parked in a driveway, and during this contact observed signs of impairment. Tee consented to and performed poorly on safety field sobriety test's. He was taken into custody and transported to Lincoln County Jail where he consented to a breath test, rendering a result of .20, blood alcohol content over twice the legal limit. He was cited and released for DUII alcohol.
A Subaru was stopped for speeding while driving northbound in Lincoln City by state police trooper Kolacz. The driver, identified as 59-year old James S. Tepper when contacted showed signs of impairment. During field sobriety tests the he continued to show signs of impairment and was arrested for DUII and was transported to the Lincoln City Police Department where he provided a breath sample which indicated a .12 blood alcohol content. Tepper was given a courtesy transport to his motel and cited and released for DUII.
