
On January 7th, 2020 at approximately 11:55 PM Toledo Police Officer Dean attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a blue 2004 Kia Spectra after observing traffic violations on Highway 20 near Dahl’s Disposal. The driver of the Kia initially began to yield, but then quickly conducted a U-Turn on Highway 20 and attempted to elude the Officer. The driver entered the City of Toledo through the west junction and eventually crashed at the intersection of NW Dundon Road and Business Highway 20, the driver then fled on foot. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
Officers from the Oregon State Police and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist in the search for the suspect, but were ultimately not able to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a male adult with short brown hair wearing a white and black flannel shirt with black jacket and blue jeans. The suspect was last seen running south onto NW Dundon Road from Business Highway 20.
The vehicle was impounded and the investigation into the identity of the suspect is ongoing.
