At 10:25 pm on Monday July 13th North Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews were dispatched to a house fire on SE Galley Ct. Heavy fire conditions were encountered from the front of the house. Two children and one adult had escaped the fire however another adult occupant was found inside deceased. The adult who escaped the fire did so while removing the two small children, however he suffered severe burns and was transported to the Oregon Burn Center at Emanuel Hospital in critical condition. The fire is currently under investigation by North Lincoln Fire, Oregon State Fire Marshals Office, and the Lincoln City Police Department. North Lincoln Fire Chief Dahlman thanked all the responders, the assistance from Depoe Bay Fire, Lincoln City Police Department, and Dispatchers.
