Pedestrian Struck By A Car In Gleneden Beach

On July 17th at about 8:45 pm State Police Trooper Severson responded to a report of a vehicle vs pedestrian crash on Hwy 101. Investigation showed a Tigard woman was walking west from South Fogarty Creek State Park across Highway 101 when she was struck by a southbound Dodge. The woman was transported by Lifeflight to Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis. The driver of the Dodge, 19-year old Austin T. Huber of Lincoln City reported no injuries and has cooperated with the investigation. Depoe Bay Fire, ODOT Incident Response and a Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy assisted at the scene.
