On September 24, 2020 at approximately 12:29 am the Oregon State Police were given information by the Lincoln City Police Department about a crash near milepost 7 on highway 18. PacWest Ambulance transported the male driver, identified as 42-year old Anthony S. Ramon of Salem to Samaritan North -Lincoln Hospital for treatment. Ramon showed signs of impairment and consented to a voluntary blood sample. Afterward he was cited and release for DUII, Reckless Driving, and DWS Misdemeanor. The driver was also cited in lieu of custody for two warrants out of Salem Municipal Court.
