Samaritan Health Services is actively monitoring and preparing for the potential spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in our communities. If you are feeling well but have general questions, please visit the Oregon Health Authority website at healthoregon.org/coronavirus or call 211. These resources offer helpful information on avoiding the coronavirus, symptoms, what to do if you think you might have the virus and more.
If you are not feeling well, we ask that patients call their Samaritan Health Services clinic before arriving if you have both of the following:
1. You have recently traveled outside the United States or have been in contact with a person known to have COVID-19,
AND
2. Have symptoms including fever or lower respiratory infection symptoms like cough or shortness of breath.
If you have severe symptoms or are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
Samaritan staff will assess your symptoms and review your history of potential exposure. They will then call the local county health department to determine if testing for COVID-19 is needed. If testing is not necessary, further care instructions will be discussed.
