School District Announces Administrative Changes For Next Year

Lincoln County School District has announced key leadership changes for the upcoming 2026-27 year aimed at improving organizational efficiency and strengthening district-wide support. Superintendent Dr. Majalise Tolan today announced a strategic administrative realignment and reduction for the upcoming academic year. These changes reflect a commitment to fiscal responsibility and a focused effort to place leadership talent where it can most effectively drive student achievement.

The reorganization involves a reduction in 4 administrative positions district-wide and the strategic relocation of several building-level administrators. These decisions were made following a comprehensive review of district operations, enrollment trends, and the specific needs of individual school communities. "We understand that change can be difficult for our staff and our families," said Tolan. "However, these moves were made with deep intentionality. Our goal was to thoughtfully place every administrator in a position that maximizes their unique strengths and addresses the areas where our students need them most."

This article would read better with some formatting updates to show the school titles with the administrator positions directly underneath. It's very challenging to read right now.

While I appreciate the school district trying to keep the teachers positions, I'm concerned that Sam Case, Crestview, and Overlake will no longer have Assistant Principals. Sam Case's Assistant Principal this year is amazing and does so much to support the students and teachers. I can't tell where the fourth administrator position is removed from. This decision needs to be revisited for the following year's budget if the Assistant Principal responsibilities becomes unmanageable for a single administrator.

Roman should never have been assigned as the superintendent of schools after her fiasco at Taft.
