On Thursday, March 21st, 2019 at approximately 2:17 PM a Detective with the Toledo Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Highway 229 near Camp 12 Loop Road after observing traffic violations on a vehicle being operated by Joseph Ryan Williams of Siletz.
During the traffic stop the Detective requested assistance from Newport Police Department drug detection K-9, Nero, who was in the area assisting on a focused patrol of the Siletz area. Nero responded to the location of the traffic stop and once deployed, provided a positive alert for the presence of narcotics.
During a search of the vehicle methamphetamine, heroin, digital scales, narcotics packaging material, currency obtained from the sales of narcotics and other drug related paraphernalia was located and seized.
An occupant of the vehicle, Breeanna Crabb, of Toledo, was taken into custody for Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Delivery of Heroin, Unlawful Possession of Heroin and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.
A second occupant, Tylor Dixon, was also arrested for probation violation. Mr. Dixon had been released from the Lincoln County Jail just hours before the incident.
Additional charges are expected. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Lincoln County Parole and Probation also assisted in the search of the vehicle and subsequent arrests.
