Two Drivers Cited After 4-car Crash In Seal Rock

Oregon State Police were dispatched to a non-injury, non-blocking four vehicle crash on Hwy 101 just south of Seal Rock. The crash investigation found the driver of a white Toyota sedan and the driver of a gray Dodge truck were stopped in the south bound lane of Hwy 101 for a vehicle making a left turn onto NW Fox Creek Dr. The driver of a white Ford truck, identified as 25-year old Malena Butler of Waldport was travelling south directly behind the Dodge Truck driven by 56-year old Marlin B. Moore of Logsden but failed to stop in time to avoid crashing into his truck, which was pushed into the opposing lane and struck a silver Honda sedan in a side swipe fashion. The Ford truck then crashed into the rear of the Toyota. Mr. Butler the driver of Ford, was cited for Following Too Close. Mr. Moore, the driver of the Dodge Truck was cited for having No Operators License.
