Women's Giving Circle to host talk on Sept. 25

The fall event of the Pacific Communities Health District

Foundation’s Women’s Giving Circle will feature a presentation on Ayurveda, “the science of

life,” with Stacy Worley, clinical Ayurvedic practitioner, certified hypnotherapist, life coach and

registered yoga teacher. The event begins at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the Center for Health Education, 740 SW Ninth St., Newport. A salad buffet dinner will be served, and a $12 donation is suggested.

Beginning at 5:30 p.m., participants will hear updates regarding grants that the Circle awarded

this past year. Worley’s presentation will immediately follow. Practiced for over 5,000 years by millions journeying toward optimal health, the science provides holistic understanding and healing to people on all levels: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Owner/Operator of Five Element Living in both Lincoln City, and North Bend, Wash., Worley will help you identify tools that can work for you and your unique nature.

The PCHD Foundation’s Women’s Giving Circle offers a unique opportunity to learn more about health care and philanthropy as well as contribute to a fund that benefits women and children within the scope of patient care provided by Samaritan Pacific Health Services.

Current Circle members and women interested in learning more are invited to attend.

Reservations are required by Friday, Sept. 20. To make reservations or request more

information, contact the PCHD Foundation at 541-574-4912 or kclem@samhealth.org.
