On 3/7/2022 State police trooper Kolacz was called on a driving complaint on a white Toyota truck northbound from Newport to Depoe Bay. A Lincoln County Sheriff's deputy located and stopped the truck. The Oregon State Police assisted on the traffic stop and both officers observed the driver, identified as 28-year old Lucas O. Angelsanchez appeared impaired. He performed voluntary field sobriety tests and further impairment was observed. Angelsanchez was arrested and transported to the Lincoln City Police Department where he provided a breath sample indicating a 0.11 blood alcohol content. The truck was towed incident to arrest. Angelsancez was cited and released for DUII alcohol and reckless driving.
