On Friday, December 30, 2022 at about 10:00 p.m., Benton County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) investigators arrested 57- year-old Tina Gonzales-Ross as a result of the ongoing shooting investigation on Porter Road in Blodgett, Oregon. During the course of the investigation, it was determined probable cause existed to arrest Gonzales-Ross for crimes against a 62-year-old male, of the same residence. The victim was transported to a local hospital; he later underwent surgery to treat his wounds.
On Thursday, December 29, 2022, around 5:15 a.m., the Benton County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a report of a shooting on Porter Road in Blodgett, Oregon. The caller stated he had been shot on his property by a woman who was living at the location. Responding deputies found a 62-year-old male inside the residence with an apparent gunshot wound.
Deputies attempted to locate the woman on the property, but she and her vehicle were gone. A search of the area led BCSO deputies to Clem Road, in Lincoln County, where Gonzales-Ross and her vehicle were located. She had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
Investigators developed probable cause to arrest Gonzales-Ross for Assault in the First Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Attempted Murder. Gonzales-Ross was taken into custody and lodged at the Benton County Jail Friday night.
