Lincoln City Provides New Weekly Updates

Providing timely and accessible information for Lincoln City’s elected leaders and community members is the goal of a new weekly memo introduced by City staff. The City Manager’s Update (CMU) is to highlight important City events and projects, along with other local

government topics of community interest; the first CMU was issued June 20 and is availableonline at City Manager’s Weekly Update page.

“I’m excited about this new approach to sharing helpful information on a weekly basis, rather

than the prior monthly cadence,” City Manager Pro Tem David Benson said. “The Lincoln City team does great work for an engaged constituency, and we’re looking forward to sharing our progress more frequently with the people we serve.” The City Manager’s Update will be distributed to members of City Council each Friday, then made available the following Monday on the City Manager’s Weekly Update page on the City’s website.
