The very first Newport Cider Festival is coming to the Oregon Coast, October 4-5, 2019.
This two-day event will celebrate the bounty and harvest of Oregon. Live music, artisans, pacific northwest ciders, craft brews, and food trucks will be the highlight of this fall-themed festival, located at the Newport National Guard Armory at 541 SW Coast Highway.
Vendors will include Avid Cider Co., Bandon Rain, 2 Towns Ciderhouse, Rogue Ales, Nectar Creek Meadery, Garibaldi Cellars, Correll Cider Presses, and Wolf Tree Brewery, among others.
Families are welcome to enjoy the Kids Zone where family-friendly activities including apple pressing, fall-themed arts and crafts, hula hooping and juggling will be available.
Festival hours are 12 p.m.- 9 p.m. on Friday, October 4, and 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 5. Live entertainment including cider pressing demonstrations, live music from Adam Larson & Co., Sons of Beaches and Hecktic Week, and circus act Americana Mayhem will be held throughout the event.
