Youth, ages 8 to 13, will spend the week learning various fishing techniques and visiting different fishing holes in the area. They will learn how to cast, set up a rod, fly fishing techniques and how to clean the fish. They will also learn primitive fishing methods including various fish traps and trot lines as well as what bait or lures to use for different types of fish.
Dates: August 5 to August 9, 2019, from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Big Creek Park.
